The Neighborhood is full of opportunities for prospective volunteers at FBCM. There are many service roles available which suit a wide variety of personalities. The individual gifts and talents of our church members can be easily matched to areas of need within the Children's Ministry. For those who would like to work with K-5th graders in an action packed time of praise and worship in large and small group lessons, this is the right choice. Children's Church services are held concurrent with the adult worship services.

Coach -- As a coach you will actively participate with the children and support staff during large group teaching time and leading a small group of children through hands-on activity communicating the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Greeter -- Greeters are responsible for welcoming families as they arrive, check children into their classrooms, answer questions they may have, and assist with check-out .

First Time Visitor Ministry -- Assist first time visitors with registering their children, locating their classroom, meeting their Teacher and answering the parentsÕ questions about our church and children's programs.

Tech Support -- Assist with lighting, sound, graphics, and all special events that take place.

Drama-- Creatively communicates the Bible through the use of dramas, puppets, acquiring props, and media production. Some areas will require an audition.

Daytime Volunteer -- Assist with preparation for our weekend services by putting together small group activities, supporting staff with data entry needs, and special projects.

KidzStuff Wednesday Nights -- join our drama team as we use high-energy drama, songs, and activities to teach Bible truths to children and their parents.

KidzJam -- Assisting the Director in training children in corporate and personal worship.

Vacation Bible School -- Join us in a week of action packed Bible study, games, crafts, and skits.

Camp -- Join us for a week of overnight action packed Bible study, games, crafts, skits, and evening worship.

ChildrenÕs Production -- Join us in celebrating the Birth of Christ as children teach the true meaning of Christmas.

Faith Club -- Teaching children the basics of Christianity once a quarter.

Special Needs Ministry -- Assist children with autism, downs syndrome, mental retardation, behavior disorders, and other handicaps from birth to age twelve. These children play a vital role in teaching by example about compassion, commitment, and unconditional love.
