Q: How do I get my son/daughter involved with FB Maryville Students?
There’s not simply one answer, but here are several ways to go about it:
*Introduce your son/daughter to one of our Pastor, Interns, or other leaders on a Sunday or Wednesday. You can just about always find one of us in the “Student Worship Area” located upstairs, room 277.
*Get your son/daughter involved in one of our Sunday Small Groups. These groups are grade and gender
divided. We offer both Middle School (6-8 grade) at 9:30 a.m. and High School (9-12 grade) at 10:55
a.m.
*During the school year, bring your son/daughter to our Wednesday night ministry called Metamorphosis (discipleship). There is open gym from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and we start upstairs in the Student Worship Area at 7:00 p.m.
*Bring your son/daughter to one of our special events. Throughout the year we plan special events such as D-Now Weekends, Mission Trips, Fellowships, Community Rally and awesome summer camps just to name a few.
Q: How do I, as a parent, get involved with FB Maryville Students?
*There are numerous ways for you to get involved with FB Maryville Students. Some of these include:
*Simply pray for FBCM Students on a regular basis. Although there are a lot of things going on at FBCM, none of those things make any kind of significant difference without God’s power. This may be the simplest way to get involved.
*Participate with your student and his/her Small Group on a Sunday morning by serving as Fellowship Coordinator, or attend a class fellowship. This may be the single best way to get involved with your child.
*On Wednesday during the school year, you are invited to check out our Metamorphosis program. We often have opportunities to serve here.
For more details on how to get involved in any of the areas mentioned above or others you can speak with Pastor Paul in person, by email, or phone (618.667.8221). Every adult volunteer will fill out an Adult Volunteer Application that involves a background check for the safety of our students. We have lots of opportunities and would love to have you be a part of the team!
